The Mac and Windows client is/are both lightweight and generally one of the better-rated ones (re: effectiveness) year-to-year. +1 on BitDefender GravityZone for Business = management is cloud-based (hosted/run by BD) or a local VM. I'm currently using Kaspersky Cloud and am quite happy with it, but they don't do EDU pricing. They also offer 'Worry Free Business Security' but I'm not sure that one qualifies for EDU discounts.īoth products offer cloud management consoles which means no additional hardware costs to you.
